Get Ready…Get Set…“GO!”
Our 3rd Regional 5K Run&Walk, 100 Vendors Marketplace-Family Carnival MS Research Fundraising event is taking place Sunday, Oct. 22nd at Warminster Community Park (350 E. Bristol Rd.), Warminster, PA from 9am to 2pm come rain or shine. Free Admission and plenty of parking on the premises. At 9:00am join us and Today’s 96.5 FM Run Team as the event entrance doors open to a tremendous day of fitness and fun for ALL AGES and a Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County Community Clothing Drive too! We invite you to shop the 100 Vendors Marketplace for unique merchandise and valuable services. Satisfy your hunger by indulging on the freshly prepared cultural cuisine local restaurants will be serving up. YES! The Pulse Entertainment live DJ will be back again to rock the house with popular tunes and to delight the crowds with interactive amusement. Enjoy carnival games and activities, soccer, dance, and animal presentations, photos with horses, popular kids costume characters, and plenty of giveaways, raffles and more. Dress up if you dare; it could WIN you a best Halloween costume prize! BRING IT ON! We need you, your kids, other family members, friends and co-workers to sign-up for the 5K and/or come support and in your loudest voices cheer on the hundreds of committed and philanthropic runners and walkers…The GYM GUYZ personal trainers will lead the race participants in a pre 5K warm up followed by a spirited pep rally. 9:30am is “GO!” time as the professionally chip timed and managed 5K starts. Run and walking enthusiasts, athletes, corporations, teams, families, and MS campaigners will be putting their best foot forward while helping to raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis research. For all you exercise fanatics who wish to be active but want to keep your workout to a minimum definitely partake in our “Mummy” Mile Stroll-pleasure walk. Based on last year’s record breaking numbers we are expecting a minimum of 500 participants to physically challenge themselves while contributing to surpassing our monster goal of $40,000. The post race awards ceremony honors the 1st & 2nd place overall top male and female and 1st & 2nd place male and female in 8 age group categories. Prizes and rewards will be presented. Our “GO TEAM!” program encourages both corporate and family/friends team participation and competition for 8 plaque award titles.
